Kure makes it easy to achieve your strategic objectives by organizing and automating your project management office workflows. To create your portfolio of projects, click 'Portfolio' in the left sidebar.
Here you'll see your list of portfolios. You can create multiple portfolios by clicking 'Add Portfolio'. A portfolio is a pipeline of projects that all drive measurable results toward a strategic objective.
You can set your strategic objective to be financial or non-financial. For example, for a financial strategic objective, you can improve hospital operational efficiency and have an impact goal of 5 million dollars.
This is an example of a portfolio for Kona Kompany. One of their strategic objectives is to improve operational efficiency to save 10 million dollars.
Here, you'll see the total Impact Goal; Impact Estimated, which is the estimated value of projects in the pipeline; Impact Achieved, which is the impact completed projects have accomplished; and Projects Not Estimated, which are projects in the pipeline which have not been valued yet.
On the left, you'll see Kure's Compass, which is a quick widget that shows you progress towards your strategic objectives goal.
To view the portfolio and see projects in this pipeline, click 'View Portfolio'. You'll be taken to your project portfolio pipeline view. Here, you'll see Kure's Compass again and your project pipeline summary on the right. Below you'll see the stages of your project pipeline from Raw Idea Evaluation, where anyone in your organization can submit process improvement ideas; to Project Definition and Project Validation stages, where you'll set project criteria and estimate project value; and Assigned Projects, which are projects that are actively being completed; and Finished Projects, which are projects that are completed and delivering value to your company. Let's look at the first stage in this pipeline.
Raw Idea Evaluation
Here, you'll see a list of all process improvement ideas suggested by anyone in your organization, or projects you add yourself.
To input an idea, click 'Input Idea' and select 'Single Input'. Here, you and your team inside Kure can add project ideas on your own.
If you'd like to invite anyone within your organization to submit process improvement ideas, click on the link on the top right, and then click 'Copy Link'. You can share this link with anyone in your organization, and it will take you here where anyone within your organization who has an idea to improve a process can submit their project idea which will show up in your Raw Idea Evaluation list.
Project Definition
Next, we'll look at the Project Definition stage. In the Project Definition stage, you can filter projects and prioritize them by selecting their impact and their difficulty.
You can sort your projects to help you prioritize them. For example, you can sort by high impact and low difficulty to show you which projects have the highest impact and are the easiest to complete. Then, you can advance those projects to Project Validation.
Project Validation
In the Project Validation stage, you'll set up your projects for success by starting the Project Charters, entering Baseline Data, and estimating the financial value of each project.
Completing each of these will help you prioritize projects, to achieve the highest impact as efficiently as possible. Once you've determined which projects are the highest priority, you can assign them.
Assigned Projects
In your Assigned Projects stage, you'll see all active projects, you'll see who the project leaders are, the progress completed, and the value of your projects.
Finished Projects
In your Finished Projects stage, you'll see all your projects that have been completed, along with the total financial impact you've delivered so far.
