How to Restrict Users to Assigned Courses

A detailed guide to the “Hide All Other Courses” admin setting in the GLSS App

The Hide All Other Courses setting allows admins to control what courses learners can see. When enabled, users assigned to a specific Learning Path or ALC will only have visibility of the courses intended for them. This guide will walk you through each step of enabling this feature and show exactly what learners will see once it is applied.

1. Accessing the Feature

  • Navigate to the Learning Path tab in your organization menu.

  • Select the Learning Path you want to configure (e.g., Yellow Belt).

  • Select the three-dot menu and choose Edit

  • Enable 'Hide all other courses from users assigned to this Learning Path'

2. User Experience

(from a standard user account: select learning paths → select their learning path to see access to only specific courses)

Once the Hide All Other Courses feature is enabled, learners will only see the courses assigned to them. All other courses, including different versions or unrelated paths, will be hidden from their dashboard.

3. Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: Can I turn off this setting after enabling it?

A: Yes. Simply uncheck the box in the Edit menu to restore full course visibility.

Q: Will enabling this setting remove courses for learners who are already enrolled

A: No. Learners already enrolled in assigned courses will retain access. The setting only hides unassigned courses.
