GLSS is committed to maintaining the highest standards in professional development and keeping our certification holders up-to-date with the latest industry developments. To uphold this commitment, recertification is required every two years to ensure the quality and ongoing relevance of our GLSS certification holders.
The recertification process consists of retaking the course or submitting a Lean Six Sigma project through Kure.
1. Course Expiration
Once a user achieves their Lean Six Sigma Certification, they receive a course certificate with an expiration date.
Users are eligible to re-certify one year after initially achieving certification, and recertification must be completed before the certificate’s expiration date.
2. Restarting the Course
Navigate to the course you’d like to retake for recertification.
Select the three-dot menu and choose Renew Certificate
Re-take the course.
3. Retrieving Recertification
Upon successful course re-completion, two years are added to the certificate’s existing expiration date—not the date the course was re-completed.
If users re-take the course after their certificate expiration date, they will be granted a new certificate with a new certification number.
3. Troubleshooting & FAQs

Q: Can I choose between retaking the course or submitting a Lean Six Sigma project with Kure?
A: Yes. Both options fulfill the recertification requirement. Users may select the option that best fits their schedule and experience.
Q: Is there a fee to re-certify?
A: If you choose to retake the course for recertification, users with a GLSS Subscription can retake the course at no additional cost, while non-members must re-purchase the course.
