Upon course completion, a course certificate will be generated and may be found in the "My Certifications" section of your Dashboard. If users are interested in updating the name on their Certification, they may follow the steps below.
1. Updating Your Name on Your Certification
Navigate to Settings.
Select Profile.
Select the edit Icon on the upper right to edit your name.
Select Save changes.
Navigate to the Users Dashboard.
Scroll down and select Regenerate.
2. Troubleshooting & FAQs
Q: Can I change my name before / after completing the course?
A: Yes. Your account name can be reviewed and updated at any time through your account Settings.
Q: Is there a limit to how many times I can regenerate my certificate?
A: No. Certificates can be regenerated as many times as needed. Regenerating a certificate will only update the name displayed on the certificate based on your current account information.
Q: Will updating my name restart or affect my course progress?
A: No. Updating your account name only affects your certificate and profile information. Course progress and completed assessments will remain unchanged.
Q: Can I use nicknames or initials on my certificate?
A: Yes. However it is recommended that learners use their full legal / preferred name to ensure the certificate can be properly recognized and used for professional purposes.
