Updating Your GLSS User Profile

A guide on how to update your account email and password directly within the GLSS App

Keeping your email and password up-to-date helps prevent login issues and supports secure access across your badges and Certifications. Your email is also used for important notifications from help@glss.app, including course progress and renewal reminders.


1. Updating Your Email Address

  • Navigate to Settings

  • Select Profile

  • Select the menu icon

  • Select Edit

  • Update your email address

  • Select Save Changes


2. Updating Your Password

  • Navigate to Settings

  • Select Profile

  • Select the menu icon

  • Select Edit

  • Select Change Password

  • Select Save Changes

Please note that passwords must not contain your name or email address, and include the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 characters

  • Both lower and upper case letters

  • A minimum of 1 number (0-9) or a symbol


3. FAQs

Q: If an organization invite was sent to one of my email addresses, can I accept it using a different email address that I also own?

A: No. You must accept the organization invite using the same email address where the invitation was originally sent.

Q: How can I regain access to my account if I forgot or don’t have access to the email I used during account registration?

A: You must submit an account recovery request with customer service by selecting the dark blue icon at the bottom right of your screen. In your inquiry, users should include: the name associated with your original GLSS account registration and the new email address you’d like to use.

Q: Can I extend my Free Trial period?

A: You may submit a Free Trial extension request with customer service by selecting the dark blue icon at the bottom right of your screen.

Q: How can I reactivate my account?

A: You must submit a reactivation request through customer service by selecting the dark blue icon at the bottom right of your screen.

Q: Can I update my GLSS account to use my personal email instead of a work email?

A: Yes! You may update your email through the GLSS settings.

Q: Will changing my email / password affect my login?

A: Yes! You will remain logged in after updating your email; however, for all future logins, you will need to use your new login information.

Q: Can I change my email address anytime?

A: Yes! There is no limit on how often you can update your email address.

Q: What if I forgot my current password?

A: On the login screen, select Forgot Password and enter the email address associated with your GLSS account. You’ll receive an email from help@glss.app with instructions on how to reset your password.

Q: Will updating my password affect my access to course progress or data?

A: No. Updating your email address or password only affects your login information. Your course access, Certification(s), and badge(s) will remain unchanged.
