Each user status in Kure defines specific levels of access and permissions, making it essential to understand these distinctions for effective organizational management. Identifying what each role can view, edit, or control ensures that team members have the appropriate level of access, fostering seamless collaboration while protecting the integrity of your projects and data.


1. User Types Within a Kure Organization

  • Standard User

  • User Admin

  • Billing Admin

2. Confirming the Differences Between User Types

Navigate to the Organization Dashboard

  • Select the edit icon on a user

  • Select Change User Type

  • Select Learn More

Note: Only User Admins, Billing Admins, and Portfolio Managers are able to access the User Type Access Chart.

Q: Why are there different User roles in Kure?

A: User roles are designed to assign the appropriate level of access based on responsibilities, ensuring efficient project management and organizational control.

Q: How can I confirm what User Role is assigned to me?

A: All users may confirm their assigned User Role by searching their email address within the organization’s user search bar.

Q: Can a user be assigned to more than one role in an organization?

A: No. Users can only have one role within an organization. If a user is in multiple organizations, they may be assigned to a different user role in each organization.

Q: Are permissions the same across all organizations in Kure?

A: No. Permissions may vary depending on how each organization configures roles and access settings within their account.

Q: Who can change a user’s role within an organization?

A: Only User Admins and Billing Admins have permission to change user roles within an organization.

Q: Can the Billing Admin be reassigned to another user?

A: Only the GLSS + Kure Team can reassign the Billing Admin within an organization. To submit a Kure Billing Admin reassignment, please contact the GLSS + Kure Support Team.

Q: How many Billing Admins can an organization have?

A: An organization may only have one Billing Admin assigned at any given time.
