Taking notes throughout your training can help improve course retention, support exam preparation, and revisit concepts.
1. Accessing a Course Video’s Transcript

Navigate to Notes
All lessons across all modules have transcripts automatically generated.
2. Best Practices
Organize personal written or typed notes by DMAIC module
Focus on key Lean Six Sigma concepts & methodologies
Add brief examples or context when helpful
Include short summaries after each module
Learners interested in note-taking must write and store them externally (e.g. an online writing platform or notebook), as direct note-taking is currently unavailable within the GLSS App.

Q: Are transcripts available for all modules and courses?
A: Yes. Every video within each module has its own dedicated transcript. Transcripts are specific to each video, so they do not carry over between lessons or modules.
Q: Can I take manual notes directly within the GLSS App?
A: No. In-app note-taking is not currently available within the GLSS app. However, learners are encouraged to take personal notes (stored externally) while progressing through course content.
Q: Can I edit the transcript directly in the GLSS course notes section?
A: No. The transcript from a course video or application content cannot be edited. Learners can read these notes to review key points or use them as a text alternative to listening to the audio.
Q: Can I download the transcript from the GLSS course notes section?
A: No. transcripts cannot be downloaded as a file (such as PDF, Word, or text export).
Q: Can your course content be downloaded as a PDF or other offline formats?
A: No. Our Training & Certification Courses must be completed and observed directly within our Learning Management System (GLSS). We are unable to convert the training into PDFs or other offline formats. This policy is in place to prevent piracy and to protect our intellectual property from being shared/distributed/copied.
Q: Can I use notes while taking Certification exams?
A: Yes. Learners are allowed to use their personal notes during certification exams
Q: Will my notes remain available after completing the course?
A: Yes. Course notes will remain accessible after course completion. You can view them at any time by navigating back to the relevant course, module, and lesson.
