Admin-Controlled Certificates are certificates that require approval from your Organization Admin before they can be issued. After you complete all course modules and pass the certification exam, your Organization Admin must confirm that any internal requirements have been met and submit a Certificate Release Request to the GLSS Team.
1. Accessing the Admin-Controlled Certificates
Complete all training modules and certification exams in an enrolled course
The last course module is titled: Admin Marking Required and confirms: Your organization has internal requirements that must be met before your certificate can be issued for this course
Confirm your course completion by contacting your Organization Admin
The Organization Admin will then submit a Certificate Release Request to the GLSS Team by reaching out to nicole@glss.app. Once the GLSS Team releases a user’s certificate(s), the course certificate will be generated and available in the “My Certifications” section of the user’s dashboard.
2. FAQs
Q: Is this required for every user?
A: No. Admin-Controlled Certificates only apply to users assigned to a course specifically labeled “Admin-Controlled Certificates,” such as Yellow Belt (Admin-Controlled Certificates). Users enrolled in standard courses will receive their Certificate automatically after completing all required course modules and certification exams.
Q: How long will I have to wait to access my certificate?
A: Timing can vary. Once you complete the course, you must contact your Organization Admin to confirm your completion. They will submit a Certificate Release Request to the GLSS Team, and access is granted once that request is processed.
Q: Will I receive an email when my certificate is released?
A: Yes. Users will receive an email notification once your certificate has been released and will be available in the My Certifications section of your dashboard.
Q: Can my Admin revoke my certificate after it’s released?
A: Yes. If your Organization Admin requests that a Certificate be revoked, the GLSS Team can revoke the Certificate after it has been released.
