Recertification Through Completing a Same-Level Project

A guide on how to maintain your GLSS Certification through completing a real process improvement project in Kure.

Written by Nicole Ines

GLSS is committed to maintaining the highest standards in professional development and keeping our certification holders up-to-date with the latest industry developments. To uphold this commitment, recertification is required every two years to ensure the quality and ongoing relevance of our GLSS certification holders.

The recertification process consists of retaking the course or submitting a Lean Six Sigma project through Kure.

1. Purchasing Recertification Through Kure

  • Submit a recertification request email to nicole@glss.app

    • Please include your Certification level, and confirm that you would like to recertify through the Kure pathway.

  • An invoice will be sent to you for payment.

    • The Invoice will be valid for 14 days

Once payment is finalized, an enrollment confirmation email will be sent to you, with your MBB Coach copied on the email. Keep this email—you will need to reply to it to submit your completed project and to request any follow-up reviews.

2. Resubmitting a Same-Level Project

To submit your project for grading, reply directly to the initial enrollment confirmation email you received after payment and include the link to your completed Kure project. Please use that existing email thread rather than starting a new email.

Once your project link is emailed to our team, your project will then be reviewed by a Master Black Belt to ensure all certification requirements are met. To help ensure your project passes, you may cross-reference it with the Green Belt Project Storyboard Submission Guide or the Black Belt Project Storyboard Submission Guide prior to submitting. If your project is marked as incomplete or has not been graded, learners are encouraged to review the feedback provided by your MBB, address all required revisions, and notify our team in the same email thread for another review.

A: Users will have access to Kure for one year. Access starts once payment for recertification is processed.

A: If users use all three resubmission attempts, users must pay an additional fee for additional submissions. Please email to nicole@glss.app for further information.

A: After purchasing recertification, you will be assigned a GLSS Master Black Belt Coach. Your coach is randomly assigned, but you may be assigned to the same coach from your previous Certification. You will receive an enrollment email confirming your assigned coach, who will also be copied on the email.
