A full-scale implementation of your solutions across the scope of your process may be complex, requiring multiple steps. The Implementation Plan provides a simple way to list the steps, who'll do them and when.

By identifying all the specific tasks required to make your solutions operational, the Implementation Plan will:

  • Provide clarity and improve understanding of the solutions

  • Helps implementation stay on track

  • Involve the team and others in the improvement effort

  • Improve communication and support for the changes

How do I create an Implementation Plan?

To create your Implementation Plan:

  1. In preparation, list the specific tasks to be implemented. If it's a complex implementation and you have many people involved, you can create a list or write them on index cards or sticky notes. This will allow you to work effectively to finalize the remaining details.

  2. Determine the duration of each task. Use your process knowledge and experience to estimate the time it'll take to implement the task.

  3. Arrange the tasks in the order they need to happen, favoring parallel work whenever possible.

  4. Determine who should perform each task, but be careful not to assign too many tasks to any one person. Then, enter the person's name who'll complete the task in the Responsible column.

  5. Lastly, enter the expected completion date in the Due Date column. Again, be sure the person assigned the task is aware of the assignment and agrees to the timing before listing them.

If you prefer a complete record, you may wish to list any actions already completed. Feel free to use as many rows as needed.

Kure makes it easy to build your Implementation Plan, providing places to list the tasks to be done, who'll do them, and when they need to be completed. After completing each row, press "Add Row +" to add another or "Complete" when finished.

Kure guides you through each step in creating an Implementation Plan by asking simple questions and providing guidance along the way. Powered by our Process Optimization Path® (artificial intelligence), Kure will help you and your teams collaborate to complete process improvement projects together.
